As a Swedish immigrant (and a big fan of Vilhelm Moberg's Emigrant Novels), I absolutely love this blog of photos from a Swedish-American family living in Texas around the turn of the last century. The photos are truly fascinating! I can't even imagine what it must have been like to come over as a poor immigrant at that time, but I always try to think about it when I get homesick, or can't get a good connection with my family over Skype.
